Is This an Anxiety Attack?!

Question: Is This an Anxiety Attack?
Sometimes, usually when 'm thinking about school or something kind of stressful, my chest or lungs tighten up. They feel like they're being squeezed and the pain is so bad I can't breathe or move at all. It started happening about 4 years ago but I haven't done anything, but the attacks have been coming more often and getting more painful.
It usually happens when I'm alone and I don't know how to tell anybody. I'm 13, so I know I'm really young, but I know some thing's wrong.
Am I having anxiety attacks or am I just not breathing properly or something? The pain is usually around my chest, lungs, or ribs. Any advice or tips would really be appreciated.

Answers:

Sounds like an anxiety attack. You arent "breathing wrong", our bodies arent capable of that, people would die from incorrect breathing otherwise.

13 is very young to start experiencing anxiety attacks though. Not to say it is impossible but most 13 year olds arent under a whole lot of stress.

Calm down and relax more. Tell your parents and see a doctor about it. You arent helping anything by keeping it to yourself

i used to get the same thing when first started secondary school because i got bullyed,
the best thing to do it try and calm yourself, if you can feel it about to happen try amd count to 10 or think about somthing to take your mind off it,
hope this helps you and hope you get better (:
