Question: What are some signs of someone cutting?
Answers:
Well obviously, if you are that person you would know about it...but signs that you might notice in someone else would be
1) Unexplained (or poorly explained) injury's on any part of the body
2) Always wearing covering clothing such as long pants and long sleeves, in hot weather
3) refusing to go swimming or other activity's that may expose skin
4) Any mentions of self-harm, even jokingly, may be a sign
5) change in mood behaviour (self harm is often associated with emotional problems)
Remember, they may not show any of these signs, if they harm in a way that doesn't scar, or a place that you'd never see, act happy/normal when their not, it can be very difficult to tell, unless they want you to know.
If you even vaguely suspect someone is harming themselves, confront them about it, the worst that can happen is that they actually don't, and you can just laugh it off, or you maybe able to help them out of the difficult situation that they are in.
