single mum with bad depression?!

Question: Single mum with bad depression?
can anybody give me some advice please. i am a single mum of 2 children and over the years i have had a rough time of it and now everything has come to a head and i feel as if i am having a nervous breakdown and have really bad depression.

i have been on happy pills over the years but they don't seem to help and now i really don't know what to do as i cant barley look after my children properly and get out of bed in the mornings.
i think i need hospital treatment as my doctor has mentioned it in the past but what will happen to my children,my husband died 4years ago and i live in the uk wile what little family i have left live in canada so i have nobody to take my children. will social services be able to help out with short term foster carers for them. last thing i want to do but i am at rock bottom and even had thought of suicide which i could never follow through and leave by babies. i need Professional help to help me get back on my feet to care properly for my children again

Medication only masks the cause of depression. As you have discovered, It can't correct it. Our bodies are designed to receive certain nutrients or we don't function correctly. A good analogy would be putting some other liquid into your gas tank, and seeing if the engine will still run. Our food is no longer nutritious as it once was. Vitamins and Minerals are depleted, and most all food has been processed to death. It's no wonder sickness is so rampant.

You must give your brain the nutrients it needs to work properly. Cod liver oil does just this. It is known to greatly benefit the brain reversing such symptoms as depression, anxiety, bipolar etc. Not all cod liver oils are created equal. It must be one where the naturally occurring Vitamins A and D have not been removed, and subsequently synthetics added back in. This will not work.

You need to take at least 3 teaspoons daily. It's best if you divide the doses up. If you can afford to take more, 6 teaspoons daily (equal to 2 Tablespoons) would be best for your condition. Make sure to include a good calcium source (citrate is good, coral is better) to help with the vitamin absorption. Also, if you eat margarine, you must throw it out and eat only real butter (from cows milk). The cod liver oil needs the fatty acids present in butter to work properly. So on your bread, pasta and cooking, use butter instead. Margarine is not healthy as touted. See article below.

If you can only do one of the supplements, definitely choose the cod liver oil, but if you can afford it, also purchase a product (source below) called Max Stress B Nano Plex. This is highly beneficial to your condition as well. It is pricey ($79.95 US dollars), and one bottle will last 47 days at full dose. If you can only afford to take it at half dose, that would still be very helpful and would last 95 days. This is not your typical chemically composed B vitamin, but rather a live food source, cell drinking powerful nutrition to combat depression. This is one of only a couple of B vitamin sources available that will actually help. Lewis Labs or Frontier Yeast is another. You may look for these as well. They are sometimes difficult for the picky to get down (have to take several Tablespoons of dry yeast daily), but are considerably less expensive.

If at all possible, get a copy of The Maker's Diet by Jordan Rubin. This book will change your life. It will clarify why people are so sick and how to reverse sickness permanently. If you are eating soy, you will want to eliminate it from your diet. It is very detrimental to our health.

My heart goes out to you for what you have been through. I commend you for your steadfastness and courage to continue to care for your children.

I really feel this approach will help you. I pray that you are willing to do it. Try to find a website to order these products in Europe. I'll include one for the US if you want to ship overseas.

EDIT: I just thought of this: If you can find some Organic Coconut Oil to cook with instead of butter, it would be far more economical. Like if you make pancakes, banana bread etc, you could put the coconut oil IN the recipe and then put the real butter ON it.

Also, I forgot to mention that if you can, try and get Organic butter. It's very important. Try and find this kind of Coconut Oil http://www.iherb.com/Nutiva-Organic-Extr… Here is an article about some of the benefits http://www.naturalnews.com/030990_super_… Whatever the brand you buy, make sure it's organic, unrefined, extra virgin and cold pressed.

Here's a informative article about butter http://www.naturalnews.com/031497_raw_bu…
