Bumped Head Really Hard!?!? 5 stars?!

Question: Bumped Head Really Hard!?!? 5 stars?
Was at the beach and dove from shore into wave, body parallel with water, not really head first but head first, but the water was shallow.

My head hit the sand at like a 40 degree angle, and then my jaw shut hard.

I got out of the water and was startled. I rubbed my head a little, and then figured I was ok.

Later that day i had a throbbing headache as a lump began to appear and swell up. Later that week it was about back to normal.

Was this a concussion?

Also, 6 months later, i was rolling on my head and doing head stands. And i noticed that area feels a bit tender, almost as if rolling on that spot causes the lumped feeling to slighty come back.....

I dont know i dont think after 6 months there would be anything wrong, however , it was a tough bump into the sand, and thank God it was cushy...sand, even though it was tougher since it was under water....

Do you think I'll be ok after six months even though when i stand and roll on my head it feels a bit tender? I havent stood on my head in awhile though....

what do you think

Answers:

I think you should see a neurologist and perhaps get an MRI, don't do a CT scan except in emergencies, because they put out too much bad radiation.
Yeah, see a doctor.
With head injuries , people have been known to have problems that kill them a few days later, due to internal bleeds etc. I don't know about a few months later.
