Can someone help me out understand my blood test results?!

Question: Can someone help me out understand my blood test results?
I just got hem done a couple of days ago and the RN said something that my Hgb blood test was high for my age and weight, height too (19, 225lbs, 5'4). They did a cholesterol text and it was below 150, she said that was ok, and the Glucose test which chose 111, idk about that, and then the Hemoglobin test which was 17.7 I also don't know what that means but she said it was high and I need to lower it down by eating less red meats and eating more fruits and vegetables and fish. I also had high blood pressure when she was doing the test (it's usually normal) .She told me they are going to run some more test because of the Hgb, overweight, High blood pressure results..Does anyone know what those results I got actually mean?.........and yes I'm gonna start a strict diet of no red meat. She said chicken, turkey, fish were fine. yay!

Answers:

HgB(hemoglobin)- You must eat a lot of red meat or take a lot of iron supplements. Your glucose is your sugar level in the blood. 111 is a good number. Your blood pressure may have gone up as you were nervous during the exam. Mine does. However, these can be easily managed with medication if it is continuously high. You are not dying. You can control this mainly with diet and exercise. Just walking can help. Other wise you sound good.
