What's a different way to express myself?!


Question: What's a different way to express myself?
I would have someone to talk about my depression and suicide attempts with. It helps me. But now I don't think i should talk to anyone about it any more because i hurt them, by them not being able to really stop me, and taking up their time to talk to me. The people I would talk to were distant friends because if I told any of my close friends they would leave me. And every person I would talk to about eventually ends up leaving me. But I'm so afraid to be alone... It hurts so much.

How could i let out my issues without talking them out or cutting?

write notes, scribble and doodle on paper with red pen..helps me..write a diary. Punch a wall..bag etc :)

People go to therapists because they are not friends. They keep information confidential and they allow you to talk about issues without affecting friendships. Plus, as professionals, they help you by creating goals and assigning you "homework" of sorts.

Nearly everybody is afraid to be alone. Please, if you haven't worked with a counselor or therapist, I urge you to do so. It's good to have somebody put things in perspective for you.

Writing can sometimes help. If writing about your feelings (in a journal, poem story) doesn't help, then maybe a physical activity could help. Go for walks, run, yoga, anything. Yoga seems to help me more than just about everything else out there.

I know you don't want to hear this, but anyone to leave you in your time of need was someone who never cared to begin with.

And try telling your current friends, and let them know you need support right now. You may be surprised to see that they will not leave you.



You could try using a punching bag to take out your hatred and sadness. Works good.
You can also try playing music. Any instrument works.



You could write in a journal to get all your feelings out. Or you if you need to talk to a real person how about a psychiatrist or counsellor.
