Question: Please help!!! What is wrong with this girl!?!?!?! 10 points for most helpful/ descriptive.?
Ok so there is this girl in my class and I concider her my friend. I dont really think she likes me much but I think there might be something wrong with her. Certain things need to be strait and the doors MUST be closed or she has a freakout. She dresses really weird and has an obsession with shiny objects. She loves it when i play with her hair and often asks me childish questions like what's your favorite... She never pays attention to anything for more than a few seconds, often darting her eyes. She almost always taps her foot and gets up sometimes. She tells me about her "friends" that nobody else can see. She is quite anti social, often questioning motives. She will go to extremes to avoid even the most basic human contact. She doesnt really get out much or talk much. She thinks there are people living in her head and sometimes talks to them. She always asks where she is, who i am, and who she is. She has scars lining her wrists and tries to hide them really bad. She sometimes gets a very distant look and won't respond. She has freakouts where she gets really crazy and laughy for NO reason but then she will randomly start throwing stuff and yelling. She twitches a lot and does things she obviously can't help (face and verbal movements). She never sleeps around me, i cant even remember one time. She cleans everything, all the time. She does everything in patterns as well. Please help. Am I just paranoid? Please name specifics. Don't tell me to tell a doctor or adult because once her trust is gone, it is gone. I dont think her parents notice either. They arent home much. Im only writing this because i see she is now struggling with school work. I will see her throw out tests that are 10% and 15% knowing I helped her study. 10 points for most specific/helpful!!! Sorry it's so long and thanks in advanced!

Obsessive compulsive disorder:
*things need to be straight
*Doors must be closed
*Taping her foot
*Cleans everything
Autism:
*Loves it when you play with her hair
*Asks childish questions
*Short attention span
*Anti-social
*Avoiding human contact.
Schizophrenia:
*Doors must be closed (maybe fear)
*Dresses weird
*Darting her eyes
*Gets up sometimes
*Visual hallucinations
*Anti-social
*Auditory hallucinations
*Bad memory (forgetting who she is, where she is)
*Self harming
*Distant look and won't respond
*Violent mood swings

I would think that her problem is closet to Schizophrenia, as OCD and autism don't present with hallucinations, where as some of the symptoms clearly over lap with Schizophrenia.
Also it could be possible that her parents already know as the twitches, facial movements, and voice box disturbances can be a side effect of anti-psychotics.

it sounds like has OCD or maybe she is schizophrenia she needs Professional help ASAP please tell her to talk to someone so she can get the help she needs. good luck

Some form of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) this disorder is where people have obsessions with neatness and other bizarre things or she could have ADHD as you said she doesn't like being in social situations one of the main ways of telling this is if she won't look people in the eye hope this helps you :)

One of my friends has similar symptoms

She sounds like she has ADHD (attention dephiset hyperactive disorder) which makes it hard for her to sit still and concentrate. also maybe OCD (obbsessive compulsive disorder) in which you have to have everything perfect at all times, the slightest flaw can make you go balistic. The voices in her head and the imagianary stuff is probably from no human contact or affection. Maybe caused by her parents not being there, and no friends. Her wrists are probably a sign of a previous or current deppression. All you can do, if you dont want to tell and adult, is be her friend. Why would she sleep around you?

Hmmm well the obsessiveness about closing doors...cleaning, sounds like OCD, but the not sleeping distant stairing imaginary friends clothes (although that just could be a matter of taste) and imaginary friends especially and the outbursts sounds like skitzofrenia (sorry I don't think I spelled that right) don't worry I dont think your being paranoid I condem you for being worried.
