Question: Im bipolar does that mean im crazy?

I just found out I'm bipolar and started taking med for it. I also found out most my family on my moms side is too and have been for many generations does this mean I'm crazy??

No your not crazy you just have a mood disorder and your medication should help you with that. Dont worry about being crazy the fact that your questioning that your crazy is just a reason you shouldnt think that. Somebody who is crazy doesnt know that they are crazy and they dont question it.

No ,not crazy. Crazy is when you don't take the medicine. you feel better when you take the medicine, right. Take it every day as told by the doctor. There are/will be times that adjustments are needed. Stressful times like holidays, or a death in the family. You will learn those times, and how to adjust. But always take them even when you feel good, you always need them.
