Bipolar, depression or just crazy?!

Question: Bipolar, depression or just crazy?
for a long time now, ive been experiencing extremely severe mood swings. in an hour or less i can have my mood change seven times.
i often get so angry i could physically injure someone, though i dont usually have tendencies to do so. i have moods where im extremely hyper, cant stop bouncing around talking fast an d doing silly things. I also have a great deal of depression where it gets so bad i cut or convince myself im better off dying.
ive been living with this for years and only recently its gotten worse
i just want to know what is wrong. i want to get help because i cant put up with this for much longer..
any help?

You could have 'Rapid Cycling' Bi-Polar. Some people are in the manic phase for days, weeks or even months, then in the depressive stage for the same amount of time. Rapid Cycling people are like you.

In any case, you need to see a doc who will probably refer you to a psychiatrist. Good meds are available for mood stabilisation these days.

Sounds similar to my hubby, he's bipolar. Go get checked out, there are medicines out there that help and DON'T turn you into a zombie, though you might have to try a few before you find the one that fits. But there's no reason to have to endure life like this. Good Luck.

you are crazy . and you need something to reduce it . you need an attention . you are included with those who lack attention and in order for you not to be a bipolar? depression ? crazy .

I'm no psychologist, but your behaviour sounds quite similar to a friend of mine who's got bipolar. I think you should go and see a psychologst or psychiatrist about this.

You probably have OCPD (Obsessive–Compulsive Personality Disorder). Similar symptoms.

bipolar

You have bipolar disorder with either rapid cycling (which usually doesn't go on for years) or you are in a mixed state, which means that you have full depression and full mania at the same time. It can look like rapid cycling. In any case, it is imperative that you see a psychiatrist and explain how you are feeling. You need lithium and mood stabilizers, and perhaps an antipsychotic/antidepressant like Abilify. You need these to save your life, or at the least to keep you out of jail. A mixed state, as you already know, is dangerous and there is a risk of suicide. Get a referral for a psychiatrist from your family doctor and make an appointment today. This is treatable, and you will feel better someday soon. Sorry you're going through this, and the best of luck to you!
