Abilify vs. Seroquel... which has less side effects?? (For Bipolar and Insomnia)!

everyone reacts differently and the reaction cant be predicted, find out the usual dose range and start with a quarter of it by splitting the pill and slowly work up

I have not tried abilify but I was on seroquel for 6+ years. I took 200 mg at night, would knock me out within an hour. If I didn't go to bed right away, I would get fierce munchies. It would leave me with a hazy feeling in the morning and soon I could not fall asleep without it. I began taking it for severe depression, bipolar disorder and anxiety. During the time I took it, I could not get below 140 lbs (i am 5'4") and since I stopped taking it two months ago, I have lost 10 with no other changes in diet or exercise. Seroquel cause me to have a suicidal depression.... made me feel like I was drunk and made me sleep all the time...

Abilify made me manic.. I only slept 20 minutes at a time (seriously) and I gained 30 lbs in a month....
