I want to stop taking Concerta. How?!
Question: I want to stop taking Concerta. How?
I am on Concerta 54mgs, and it makes my heart race,but it helps A TON, but I don't want to risk heart issues... I've only been on it a month, and I've tried stopping 2x, but both times I only went 4 days w/o it bc I felt like crap w/o it after that...
So... What if I start taking my 36mgs (I got my dose upped 2 weeks ago) for a week, then take three 10mgs ritalin/day the next week, then three 5 mgs Ritalin (1/2 pill) the next week and then none...
If I did that would it be easier to get off of Concerta, and would my ADD not be worse than b4 I started if I did this?

Well, it is a dopamine releaser and the side effect is a massive increase in blood pressure.
Every cardiologist will stop this. If you cannot believe it I suggest to visit a cardiologist or a doctor of internal medicine.
