Do I have obsessive-compulsive disorder?!

Question: Do I have obsessive-compulsive disorder?
When I buy something if there is a slight imperfection with it I tend to get anxious and want to return/exchange it.

Answers:

You might be more of a perfectionist than suffer from OCD. People with OCD can often times have certain rituals they carry out every single day. Whether it's washing their hands/face/body multiple times a day. Or rearranging things in a certain pattern through out the house and becoming furious when things aren't in a certain pattern. Or counting. Counting anything including every tile in your bathroom, kitchen etc. Counting every step you take from one area of your house, work, etc. to another area. Or hording things and not being able to throw anything away including your own cut hair, fingernail clippings, urine, old newspapers, etc. OCD can't be cured but it is treatable but being a perfectionist is something you have to work out patiently. Next time you buy something that is imperfect try and resist returning it and simply try to use it instead.

I'm not sure this would classify as OCD, it is definitely an obsessive trait, but not neccessarily OCD, with OCD people tend to obsess about everything and perform tasks repetitively.

Probally you do, not a severe case though, my mom has it and she bought me a book. There was a litttle rip and she expploded.

your anxiety is very mild compare to me, so dont worry , please go through CBT therpy with consultant doctor, you r normal man

There's nothing wrong with OCD as long as you keep to your own business.
