I have an anger problem?!

Question: I have an anger problem?
See I get angry really easily. Here's an example, I'm doing my homework and I wanna take a 5 mins break and I would start reading a manga online but then my I would be told to stop being lazy and do my work then read manga. I would get so pissed that I would get to the point of throwing something. I can literally feel the anger stuck inside of me begging to me let out like fire. Another example is when I was playing on my ipod touch. does anyone know the game maplestory thief? well I was doing a jump quest and i kept falling back. After about 1 hour I got so irritated I threw my ipod across the room. Luckily it didn't die. Another time is when my friend asked me if she could play on my pod touch and i said no since i was listening to music then she said i never let her use it (i ALWAYS do!!!) and that she always let me play on hers (she NEVER does!!!). We kept arguing until i got so angry i hit her hard.
So... do you think I have an anger problem?

If you can't deal with it by using one of the techniques, such as counting backwards from 20, to 1, (and prevent you from allowing yourself to become angry, in the first place) it is important to express that anger appropriately, at the time, and to the person who caused it, if possible, or immediately afterwards. If not, perhaps by walking away later, and bellowing your rage and/or frustration. In some situations, such as work, or school, it might be better to cover your mouth with a cupped hand, bandanna/handkerchief, or use the crook of your elbow, to muffle the sound. Some people find that it helps to journal those thoughts, and emotions soon afterwards. Anger, which is repressed, rather than healthily expressed, tends to fester, and later may cause explosive fits of rage, or depression. Let yourself feel the burning energy of that anger, and visualise it, as vividly as possible, as a hot flame cleansing you. It can help to have someone you can talk to. For more physically inclined people, a punching bag, or hitting your pillow, can be an effective release mechanism: visualise, as vividly as you can, that you are striking back at the cause of that anger.

"But next time, when you get mad, just remember this quote: 'Those who anger you, conquer you.' It's basically saying that when you give someone the power to make you mad, or let it get to you, it's like they're controlling you. When I realized that, it made me mad, so I try to control my anger and not let people see it. You can still control your anger without being walked all over. You just have to draw a line." Try saying to yourself, in your mind: "I am fire! I am ice!". Repeat for as long as it takes for you to calm down sufficiently. Practice a relaxation method, daily, and when needed, such as: (free) http://www.drcoxconsulting.com/managing-… or http://altmedicine.about.com/cs/mindbody… or http://www.wikihow.com/Meditate or Yoga Nidra, (no flexibility required) at http://your-mental-health.8m.com/blank_1… Qi Gong, Tai Chi, or regular yoga suits others better. Give the EFT a good tryout, to see if it helps you. These will enable you to emotionally centre yourself, when practiced regularly, and can also help you become a calmer, more self controlled person, who is less influenced by the behaviour of others.

sounds like you could use some help , your GP should be able to arrange some counceling sessions with a therapist that could give you some simple little tricks on how to handle it , don't worry , they wont dig into your brainbox too much , they might explore why you feel that way to help you get a handle on things & then offer some techniques like relaxation & meditation or how to vent your anger in a more positive way like sports & hobbies

Yes, you probally have bipolar or something.

Yes I believe so. You have trouble controlling your emotions and keeping your anger in. You shouldn't keep your anger in but let it out without hurting any one or breaking anything. Have your mother sign you up for karate or kickboxing classes. You'll learn how to channel your anger and protect yourself at the same time. You'll also learn discipline which might help you control you anger also. You might also want to see a counselor so they can help you figure out why you get so angry and also help you find creative ways to help you channel your anger more positively. If you don't get help now it's very possible that when you are an adult you'll end up seriously hurting or killing someone.
