depression...help......?!

Question: Depression...help......?
Life is so short , and too short to be depressed all the time. I'm a very lucky person. I am a 14 year old male and I live in a nice, clean house with both of my parent's and have more than I could ask for. It's just my brother lives very far away from me, and he has no cell phone service. He has internet, but it's very weak and he doesn't get online really at all. He's always online on xbox live though, watching movies. He never replys to my messages. Sometimes his girlfriend gets on and watches movies.
But lately I have been depressed pretty bad, just missing my family. He lives in New York state, and I live in North Carolina. I have lived here for like 10 years, more than half my life, and he used to live here but moved up to NY like 3 years ago. Money is tight and that's the reasons why I can't go visit my family.
I'm going in JULY because of my great grandmas funeral service...but that's a far time away :(.
I don't have much friends. I left public school because of people being jerks and trying to start **** all the time. It was just too much, but i'm homeschooled now...and 14 years old...
but can someone help me cope?
i also have self esteem issues...like with girls, me not having a flat chest ( i have a big build to my body ), and other crap..
thanks

Hey, sorry to here you feel this way.
I have lost all my friends a while back, and I understand the feeling of being alone, and having self esteem issues.
I am still searching for the help answer, but whenever I am feeling low there are things that help me feel a bit better.
I first make a plan of action. Things that I want to achieve in the next week, year, or just throughout lifetime (I'm from England, and I am saving to travel the USA on my own in a few years time, so when I'm down I look up all the states) I may watch my favourite film or read my fave book (wuthering heights) or I may take a solitary walk in my nearby forest, whilst listening to powerful music, which makes me feel stronger. I also have started exercising as that releases feel good chemicals - it really works! I am a terrible runner and I have been recovering from illness, so it has been hard, but I go 3 times a week and I get the best feeling ever after doing it. Plus it has improved my self esteem as it has toned me up and my breathing feels free-er etc. My sister has moved away just recently too, and I miss her a lot. But remember that the time spent away is good, you can develop your independence. I know it's hard, not having someone to be there when your feeling so low. It's unfair really, but it's just life. But don't be too discouraged about life. Think of all the things in life that make you smile. It may not have yet been the people, or the events. I think of those nights when the rain is falling down on my window pane, or when the sun is setting from a summer evening. Or the smell of fresh grass. Or my favourite music (the beatles!). You're a teenager, and although for some that is the best time of their life, at least you know that it can only get better. it's easier said than done, but try not to worry about what people think of your appearance and your personality. You are you, for the rest of your life. Just walk around like you don't care. The people that will judge you are not worth the worrying about, unless they can read your mind, their judgements will never be true anyway. If you ever feel low, email me :). I hope this has helped!
