Question: Interested to hear from Anyone who suffers from an anxiety disorder ?

I'm 19 also and I suffer from GAD, social anxiety, and agoraphobia. It makes everyday life a struggle but I am on medication in conjunction with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It is helping somewhat but not to the extent it should, mind you different therapy techniques work differently for different patients. What works for one person may not work for another.

Well I tend to have panic attacks from small triggers, most often when I'm in big public places like the city commons or the mall. For example, a few drunk guys harassing me and following me, stupid girls trying to pick a fight, etc...But when I panic, it's like intense fight-or-flight and I just snap. It's crazy and scares my friends, but they're always very understanding.
I also get overwhelmed very easily by things I have to do, like homework. I get frustrated with myself and that's what started my self-injury a few years ago.
