Answers:

There are several steps you can take to help yourself out.

-First of all, if you find that you can't pay attention in class, try avoiding distractions. Don't sit close to friends, keep objects that you fiddle with away from you, e.c.t.

-If you've been struggling since the second grade, chances are your problem doesn't only stem from distractions. One possible way to help yourself out is to simply try harder. Some people have to work harder to achieve success.

-If trying harder simply won't cut it, you may want to seek out extra help. Ask your math teacher, or even your councilor for help.

-Feeling frustrated when you can't understand something is normal. From personal experience, I suggest down playing your frustration. Don't dwell on your inability to accomplish something for too long. Instead, try to find out how to solve your problem. While feeling frustrated is normal, feeling lonely all the time is not normal. If you always feel lonely and depressed you may want to talk to someone like a parent, a friend or relative you trust, or a councellor at school.

Before I wrap up this answer, I'd like to leave you with some more advice. Don't expect to understand everything in life right away. Live life as though you have to work for everything you expect.

when it came to math, my daughter would get extremely frustrated as well (8th grade). until one day i was able to explain to her that she was "thinking" it was a lot harder than it really was....i went over a simple problem and she said "that's it?!" she's very smart so i think she expected to do more. math eventually gets more complicated, but it's usually taught in steps. try to relax, do some deep breathing before you begin your work.
