Do I Have O.C.D?????!
Question: Do I Have O.C.D?????
I know a some about o.c.d(obsession compulsion disorder),, can you please help me find out if i have o.c.d?
This is what happens to me many times a day& takes up some time.
** btw, the reasons i have to do this is because i feel like someone i love is going to die/get hurt. **
1. when i open/close a door, i have to do it a certain amount of times(ALWAYS end on an even number), & think of someone i love(friends, family, pets etc.)
2. when i turn off/on a light switch, i have to think of someone i care about, and flip the switch a certain amount of times(but also ending on an even number) because i feel like someone i care about will die/get hurt.
3.if i accidentally bumped my hip on a counter, i have to bump the other hip too because i feel like someone i care about will die/get hurt.
4. when i look at my watch or a clock, i have to look away when the seconds are on any even number(example - 4:30 & 58sec.) because i feel like someone i care about will die/get hurt.
5. if i step on a crack/line on the side walk with on foot, i have to step on another crack//line with the other foot because i feel like someone i care about will die/get hurt.
-And there are some other things i do similar to the ones above this-
-it is very frustrating because i know its stupid, but i feel like i have to do that no matter what-
please help me? thanks(:
