Does a withdraw from a Med gett better after the first day?!

Question: Does a withdraw from a Med gett better after the first day?
I've been taking Seroquel since 2/10 for anxiety. But i dont like it. I started taking 50mg AM & 100mg PM for 3 days.

Then 50mg AM/ 50mg PM for another couple days.. But on the 17th i started only taking it at night because it made me to drowzy in the day! For the past 3 nights i cut the 50mg caplet in half because im weaning off of it.... But i missed it last night because i fell asleep... I feel so odd & out of it today... I feel so out of it today, Could it be a withdraw?

Answers:

During withdraw from psychiatric meds one must maintain a positive attitude.

Brain exercise is essential. Walking is one of the best exercises for your mind.

Keep your mind active with positive thoughts. Keep out the negatives and forget about the bad times, relive the good experiences in your life.

Be very careful when shraring your thoughts with others at this time, as it's possible that some family member was responsible for you being prescribed that brain damaging, mind altering toxic drug seroquel to force you to "behave" the way "they" wanted you to "behave."

YES It Could be Withdraws, Medications are meant to suppress or alleviate a problem until either your body can fix the problem or the doctor can find a better way to treat it,

But Some medications have additive properties because the ingredients do a better job of controlling what the problem is, You can go back to your doctor and have them help you get off this medication, after all they were the one that got you on it in the first place,

OR it's either have medication do it's job so you can do what you need to OR deal with the problem and loose focus on what you need to do.

Sorry For what you have to deal with hope you get better..... GOOD LUCK!!

take a small dose and see if you feel better
it wouldnt be my first choice for anxiety, its a newer atypical antipsychotic, advertised to docs as a magic cure for almost everything
IMO valium as needed would be kinder to you

withdraw symptoms can last for awhile depending on the person and how long taking the drug, just give it time for your body to adjust, drink water to flush out your system
