I'm always sad and like depressed..?!

Question: I'm always sad and like depressed..?
Before January when I was in 7th grade, I got really good grades, and I was always happy and everything. I thought I had an awesome life. I would go on my laptop sometimes just to play games. Then one of my friends told me to make a facebook. I made one and I later found a game called habbo. I was so addicted to both that my grades dropped from A+'s to B's. Right now I'm in 8th grade. I play the clarinet and I have A's and A-'s. I had a C from quizes in math and spanish. I was always 1st clarinet, but now I dropped to 3rd clarinet. Last year every one of my art paintings was in a museum. Now I had none. My mom and dad tell me I'm a failure at life and that all I do is go on the computer. They said I don't read, and I had the clarinet.. but I failed at that too. I feel like I failed my whole family and life. I cry all the time thinking why can't I have a time machine. I just feel so bad about myself. I'm ugly and everything. My friends are so pretty and say I am but it's not true.. :(

What your parents said was wrong. They should see that your going through some sort of struggle that's doing this to you.
I noticed that your username is 'i love fried chicken', im not really sure how much you eat it but i do know that junk food, really any food that has a lot of preservatives and at cause depression and mess a ton with your hormones.
There was also a study that shows that social networking systems, such as facebook, cause depression for people and cause a decline in their lives like; socially, athletically, health wise, and mostly in school and grades.
Im a christian and beleive what the Bible has to say...it helps a lot and has many things that can help you and will help you if you ask God for the wisdom to help you undestand.
Theres a verse that says if your arm causes you to sin, cut it off....if facebook is causing a decline in your life remove it from your life...same for anything else.

You need to get control of yourself. You have a life and it does not revolve around the computer. You can come out with a plan and then stick to the plan as when you need to play your game and how many hours(2 hrs max). You need to managed and divide your time and that it. Once you can managed your time you should be able to see your grades improve accordingly.

"If you have no plan, you plan to fail"

Everything in moderation including playing games on computers. It's all over the news how people are in trouble with that. Our bodies are made to move. Try to limit yourself and increase it a little at a time. Trying to get up every few minutes and do some easy exercise or go out and communicate with humans. If your friends say you're pretty, you are.

Start taking Omega fatty acid capsules if you don't like eating fish. I was depressed for years until I started doing that. (It's really good for skin too.)

Just search Omega 3 fatty acid benefits and see what you can find. I found this one of many.

okay about the grades..be glad you have As and Bs! thats better than most people :) I used to always get A's but high school gets harder! I have a D right now in science, when I used to get all A's because the tests are so hard now. (im in 9th btw) and I doubt that you're really ugly..but if you feel ugly then maybe you should try wearing makeup or straitening your hair to feel prettier :) and plus,at least you have friends. some people dont have any friends so be glad that you do..and also be glad you have food, clothes,a place to live..don't take that for granted..and you shouldnt care what your parents think..you know you're smart and that's all that matters..one day when you are really successful you will prove them wrong :) and you should be able to get on the computer alot if thats what you want..but maybe just try to get on a little less..limit yourself to one or two hours a day or something,,hope I helped :)

me :)
