How Do I Get Over Grief?!

Question: How Do I Get Over Grief?
Ok, so my grandpa just passed away(september) and so did my friend. I can't get over the losses, it has even made me eat less (and I don't want to be more skinny, I'm major skinny)! How do I get over it? Is there any medicine that won't make me feel sick?
Thanks!

Answers:

no what your actually feeling is depression (which is bad) the thing to cure it is try to hang out with some people or do stuff that make you happy to take your mind off it hanging with friends go to the mall shop for a while then discuss all your go clothes you bought and stuff it makes you feel better. yea there is one medicine a depression medicine the doctor will prescribe it to you if the test you take show of positive depression but only take the medicine if you really think or know you cannot get happier by doing stuff with others or doing something fun by yourself.

my grandma died when i was in fifth grade and this guy who i never thought would tell me this said
his dad used to tell him when someone died is that: "you should keep his head up and live on don't let anything pull you down"

Im so very sorry for your loss. You need to talk with someone, anyone who will listen. Talk about the wonderful qualities they had and good times you had with them. Cry, scream deal with the anger and emotions you are going through. It truly is a process. I lost my Dad when I was young then my Nana less than a month later. The pain is awful...I know. Time does make it hurt less...it really does. Please try and eat....I dont think your your Grandpa would want you to not be eating. Also, please do not resort to any medicine or drugs to numb the pain. Feel it, deal with it, work through it.....you will make it through. And never, ever forget how much you love them and they love you. Take care sweetie and peace <3

Any medicine that makes you stop feeling something like grief will most likely make you not feel other things like happiness. Grieving is a process, and we have our own ways of dealing with it. If it gets to be a problem, I'd suggest talking with someone close to you about and reasoning with them about the nature of mortality in humans and how we have over the years learned as a species to cope.
