I always hear my mom calling me even when she's not. What could be causing !

Question: I always hear my mom calling me even when she's not. What could be causing this?
I get this mostly when I'm wearing headphones or in the middle of the night when it's really quiet. She's not dead or anything, I live with her. But I always hear her scream my name at the top of her voice mostly when she's not around me like in the next room or out with the neighbours.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? And how I could stop it.

Answers:

I think it's a pretty normal thing to experience on occasion if you've grown up with your mom screaming for you to come to her, especially if you ever got into trouble for not responding quickly enough. My mother used to commonly scream up from downstairs to my room (because I couldn't hear her if she didn't call loudly enough), so I used to experience the same thing where I'd be listening to something and then think I heard her calling for me. I don't know if there's much you can do about it, but it shouldn't happen that frequently and should go away as you get older. It's a lingering psychological effect not necessarily indicative of any fear you may have but just due to conditioning.

I don't think there are any acceptable answers known for this in the mental health or psychiatric circles.
It may be that the energies of the headphones are amplifying your neurological memories, brain and spirit.
computers, headphones, music, electromagnetic, electricity, and other energies are known , but only some knowledge is known that they all effect our brains , bodies, minds, and maybe more importantly, the part of ''spirit' we don't understand.
I would say give your brain a rest from the headphones, computers and the like and get out into nature, and take breaks from 'high tech' each day, limiting your use of these things and get back in touch with life without these always affecting/effecting you and your mind.
