Just depression or more? HELP PLEASE?!

Question: Just depression or more? HELP PLEASE?
For a few days I have been more depressed than usual. I have no motivation and I don't really wanna eat. I keep feeling nauseated and often am either constipated or have loose stool but I can snack just fine. I eat a really unbalanced diet but drink lots of water and don't eat anything super greasy. My sinuses also start to hurt on and off and I often spend one day a week in bed. Please help!!!

hmmm. i wouldn't jump right to depression. try eating lots of fiber and working out. also, keep a journal of everything you are doing/eating to help gain perspective of what you are doing to your body. try practicing relaxation and meditation. also, empower yourself! don't buy into the nonsense that you have some sort of disorder that is out of your hands, be aware that this is a marketing scheme by big pharma to market illnesses to the population to get your money. do your research on this and become aware. you are not depressed. stay strong.

personal experience + research + psychology degree

Depression. It'll get better

depression, do you have any help? that might be a good idea.

Depression can be a slow developing disease at times. At first it feels good to be relaxed take a day off for sleep...but over time it will and does raise its ugly head. Before it progresses to much I would see a Psychiatrist...do not start messing around with therapist they cannot cure it...basically they are there for support reasons. If you see a psychiatrist and you are still dragging around you might try another medical doctor for something like sleep apnea...low thyroid functioning. I myself had been on medication for like 3 years at first it helped alot then I just hit a brick wall..tired all the time etc etc etc.
I quit taking the medications that i felt were causing problems...like crying jags and all of that...I started supplementing with fish oil/Gaba/Vitamin b/hydergine/l-theonine. And i feel great. The best I have felt in the last 3 years. Also diet can have a big impact on depression...Check out Barry Sears and the Zone diet. You have to balance you protiens/charbs/fats. The less charbs the better I find.
Excercise is another biggy in helping curb depression...they are not sure why...some folks thought it was the release of endorphins but this turns out to be false. The best thing to do is research...research and research. And by all means do not become victim of the pill pushers...if the meds you are prescribed are not working tell the doctor. If he doesn't want to change them find a new doctor. The best of luck to you...get treated asap so you do not want slide into Dante's hell i have been there and believe me never want to go back.
