Should i have gone with them? Answer this please?!?!

Question: Should i have gone with them? Answer this please?!?
I just called a hotline and said i thinking about harming myself and others. They offered to send a ambulance but i said no thanks. I just wanted to talk. I called 911 once and when they came to my house my mom was so pissed off so thats why i told them no thanks. Should i have gone with them?

Answers:

There's a big difference between thinking of harming yourself or others and actually wanting to ACT on those thoughts.

Not once have you mentioned acting on these thoughts which is probably why you've been sent home from the hospital so many times.

Get yourself into therapy. If you need to go to hospital then go but don't be messing about having the emergency services chase you. It costs several hundred dollars just to send an ambulance so they must only be used in emergencies.;

Yes, you should have. I think it's terrible that you consider harming yourself, but when you add that you're thinking of harming others, it gives you a responsibility to get yourself somewhere where you can't hurt anyone.
You didn't say why you called 911 last time, or why your mother was pissed, but if you tell her what you told us, she can take you somewhere herself, and not run up an ambulance bill.

If you're really feeling like causing harm... and you know its wrong so you call help... why the **** would you care what your momma thinks?

Call again, and get yourself out of that household.

If you start to feel that way again, just call them again. Its your moms problem if she dosnt want you to be better

dont harm others because you have problems! you need seriuos help with those thoughts

go punch someone
