Question: Anxiety and tablets what shall i do please help (loads of answers)?

i have just got back from the doctors and they put me on fluoxetine.i suffer from really bad anxiety , worry about everything and it kills me inside ( i have a great relation ship who i have been with for 20 months now and im destroying it by worrying so much ) i always feel like everyone hates me and 70 % of the time i want to cry.i was going to go on st johns worts but i cant because of my contraception. does anybody have any suggestions . i just feel like i was born to be happy and not happy even though my life is great . oh and i am 18 thankyou very much.

If you just got back from the doctor and are still having issues, mayhap it's time you return to the doctor and tell them the medicine is not helping. You can also call your doctor and ask for suggestions to help you besides the medication. If it was a very recent visit, you should really give the medication time to start working, as well. Most medications take time to start working properly and are not quick fixes.

I have the same problem. Untill I started taking Seraquil and on top of anxiety I have Insomnia. So the seraquil puts me to bed pretty quickly too. Its helped. And I know it might be horriable advice but it works, for some ppl. Smoke some weed, listen to music u really like and just relax.
