u may have Bipolar Manic symptoms include:
severe changes in mood-either unusually happy or silly, or very irritable, angry, agitated or aggressive unrealistic highs in self-esteem - for example, a teenager who feels all powerful or like a superhero with special powers great increase in energy and the ability to go with little or no sleep for days without feeling tired increase in talking - the adolescent talks too much, too fast, changes topics too quickly, and cannot be interrupted distractibility - the teen's attention moves constantly from one thing to the next repeated high risk-taking behavior; such as, abusing alcohol and drugs, reckless driving, or sexual promiscuity Depressive symptoms include:
irritability, depressed mood, persistent sadness, frequent crying thoughts of death or suicide loss of enjoyment in favorite activities frequent complaints of physical illnesses such as headaches or stomach aches low energy level, fatigue, poor concentration, complaints of boredom major change in eating or sleeping patterns, such as oversleeping or overeating
Although there's no cure for bipolar disorder, treatment can help stabilize moods and help the person manage and control symptoms. Like other teens with long-lasting medical conditions (such as asthma, diabetes, or epilepsy), teens with bipolar disorder need to work closely with their doctors and other medical professionals to treat it. ITS ALOT I KNOW BUT HOPE IT HELPZ :P
You have to work on regulating your emotions. You may feel things deeply, and that could be a sign of an artistic person. But, choosing which emotions to act on, and which ones to control is all part of growing to adulthood.
Work on self-control, self-esteem, self-regulating behaviour, and maintaining your moods and state of mind.
your problem is now called bioplar.
print out your question and take it to ordinary doc and ask for bipolar meds, it also helps to exercise and take long walks, join a gym
My 18 year old sister gets this with the whole happy one minute, mental the next, then normal again, then crying. Very changable she went to the doctors who diagnosed BPD (Bi-polar Disorder) she now has medication to control it.

These are typical symptoms of something called Bipolar disorder, but this does not necessarily mean that you have it. You are 17 and possibly at the height of your maturation. Changes in the levels of hormones such as testosterone and other androgens can have the effect that you describe above. If the problem persists and becomes a real problem in your life you should consult a professional and they are sure to be helpful. Any advice that does not include consult a professional, please disregard.
Mood swings and the like can be caused by many different things. Personality disorders or bi-polar can be to blame, but so can stress, a lack of sleep, and many other factors. If this is worrying you, talk to your GP or maybe your school therapist, and they may be able to help you get to the bottom of this. It is unlikely, however, that you have a serious personality disorder.
