is it weird to think people (even my parents) want me to suffer?!

Question: Is it weird to think people (even my parents) want me to suffer?
ive been having mental issues for 9 months and in an effort to deal with them i cut myself, but i realize its bad and im getting help and trying to stop.

i blame high school and my parents for my suffering, because high school caused my mental problems, and my parents make them worse by yelling at me (usually over the littlest things)

I know this is what everyone says...but I would recommend a psychiatrist. They can help you with behavioral-cognitive therapy or pharmacological intervention if necessary. Are you in college? If so, most schools have free psychological services (and I think probably high schools too). In the mean time, exercise is a great way to generate endorphins and help even out hormones.

Your parents are doing whats best for you. They do not want you to suffer. They want to raise you right so that you can be successful later in life. Its there job as a parent to teach you whats right and whats wrong. Its their job and if you think they like you suffering they are doing a dam good job of raising you! But your parents need to calm down too. They are not perfect. They should not yell at you for something really little. They should also try to learn patience with you which they dont really have right now.
