How to get through a performance when you feel really fat?!


Question: How to get through a performance when you feel really fat?
I'm on a diet and I have lost weight and I will be dieting until it is all gone but, I have this performance tomorrow at my college and compared to all the other girls (with the exception of a few who are bigger than me) I feel so fat and it is horrible. It's making me want to leave but I have to do the performance otherwise I would be letting so many people down. It is performing arts so obviously the girls are teeny tiny skinny.
I just feel so sad... I'm a self harmer (have been for 7 years) and I know ways to disguise my scars for the show so that isn't a problem but I wouldn't be able to do the same with a fresh cut.. So I can't even cut and restraining myself is making me feel even more worse.
This is basically a rant but, any advice?

Remember to take a deep breaths every now and then. Deep breathing helps you relax, so practice deep breathing just before starting your show and also occasionally during it. Relax your tense muscles and keep your face relaxed because the face leads the way for the whole body. If your face is relaxed your whole body tends to follow suit. On the other hand if your face is tense and has a frown, you will feel more tension in your whole body. Smiles always wins over the majority if you show your enjoying the show other's will see that and enjoy you! You just need self confidence...PLEASE wrk on it....it makes life so much better...when you show confidence people feel it...



Accept who you are, no one is perfect. Ever, even those who appear to be perfect are not. Be real, be honest with yourself.
