I struggled with addiction last year, and have not been on any meds for almost a year, but I still have intense cravings so I reached out for help, and I have an appointment with a counselor at an Addiction Center on March 14th.. I was wondering what I should expect..

So what should I expect at this appointment ? I started abusing meds after being raped in October 2009

First off, sorry to hear about the rape. That must have been awful for you.
I think your app is high priority because they're worried you'll slip up. They'll probably talk through how you're feeling and maybe talk through some alternatives to the drugs. Good luck!
I am so so so sorry you were sexually assulted, that is horrible, no one should have to go through that. You should tell the counselor everything. Don't hold back, just talk. He/she is there to listen and to and help you.
best of wishes!
