Does anyone know what's going on?!

Question: Does anyone know what's going on?
I think I am losing my mind or something and I want to know what's going on. Late at night I always tend to feel desolate, hopeless, scared, empty, sad, and just overall depressed. I am find during the day though and I don't know why I get like this at night. I do have social anxiety problems, but I am at home so that isn't the problem, or at least I don't think it is. I haven't seen my girlfriend in a few weeks and I guess I'm worried I'll mess things up between her and I, could this be a cause of it? It tends to happen late at night when I'm in my room and no one's talking to me, I don't like this feeling at all and I want it go to away. Please help?

It's mixed emotions if you want them to go away think about it in your mind what's wrong? What should I do? Should I get help or not either way your going to be fine. Your a different person it's normal too have these feelings if you let them go and don't worry that much then it's not a problem. So let your feelings flow in your mind instead of asking yourself what's wrong? It's maybe something or nothing theirs nothing wrong with you your just over thinking.

Sounds like depression to me. Depression doesn't necessarily mean you feel down 24/7. Some people are only depressed in the cold months, some people are only depressed on certain days of the week, and some people, like you, are only depressed at night. It is possible that your girlfriend troubles is contributing, but I would still recommend you talk to a doctor or a counselor about it. They can help you find coping methods or possibly prescribe medication to give you a more peaceful sleep.

You need to talk to your doctor, the sooner the better if you want to start tackling these issues, these symptoms are not normal, and he will suggest either some medication for your anxiety, which should help a lot when you find the right one, or counseling with a psychiatrist, or both. Hope this helps
