I'm still depressed and can't do what I'm supposed to do, what am!

Question: I'm still depressed and can't do what I'm supposed to do, what am I doing wrong?
Every time I mean to get up early for looking for a better job I end up sleeping in too late. I know I can look online but I wanted to go to the career service center here. I keep messing up my plans because I can't get up on time. My boyfriend was supposed to call me to get up but he forgot. I even set my alarm but my mind kept telling me just a little bit more. To my mind everything just seems a little too hard for me. I have bipolar disorder and I still haven't gotten used to the illness. It is hard for it not to take over my mind and have everything fall apart. I have been taking my medicine for the most part but it doesn't seem to have gotten rid of my depression quite yet. I have tried to change my mind set and I've been trying to do positive things but nothing seems to be working.

you need motivation...

I have OCD and have been clinically depressed for about 35 years , I find it is almost impossible to get up on time everyday . But if you have something you need to do on a specific day, you have to set your mind to pop up right out of bed as soon as the alarm sounds. I personally try to stay even , which for me is depressed all the time , but not severely , because it seems the better you feel , the worse the crash. Keep busy and also , I find exercise is very good voe depression. But as far as your original question, you just have to set your mind to pop right out of bed, otherwise you will continue to miss important events. Hope this helps some.
