Is crying good for you..?!

Question: Is crying good for you..?
Serious answers only please...

Answers:

It makes it hurt less.

Crying is therapeutic. It lets some of the hurt out, Even now I sometimes cry, for no apparent reason. It maybe a song or a film that prompts the tears. Better to let the tears come than keep those emotions 'inside'. Sometimes I have cried so much I thought I'd never stop, but you always do, eventually. Sometimes I have cried so hard I exhausted myself so much that I cried myself to sleep.

What I do know is that it is better to cry than to try to bottle up the emotions.
I really would not like to share with you some of the reasons I have 'seriously' cried but I do believe in the 'better out than in' theory.

Crying is, for me, almost as good as having someone to talk to although sometimes talking about a problem with a trusted person is better.

Yes. Believe it or not no matter what the reason is, crying is a safe outlet for your emotions. It helps to release stress and is much better physicaly for you than keeping severe anger or depression bottled up inside. It can be very theraputic, however its understandable that most people have too much pride to cry in front of others, which is where psychiatrists come in handy.

Yes some times crying helps to ease yourself. It will reduce stress in you. Everyone should try to cry alone in lonely place. If you cry in front of people they will not like you (if there is no such reason behind crying). But everyone can not cry without reason and also regular crying will be harmful. As it is opposite to laughing which is good for health.

the rest of them are idiots and wrong. Crying releases various chemicals from the body which creates stress, sadness and general unhappiness. With the crying some of these chemicals are released creating a happier person.

It's sort of like relieving a bit of pressure when you cry, believe me crying is better than holding it back.

If you cry out of joy, yes. If you cry out of sadness, no.

Yes. I would say so because it always seems to make me feel better. Chemical balance maybe.

its healthy. letting out pain.
