Question: Can people go to work/school while taking antidepressants?

I am taking Sertraline and I'm 15, I really miss my friends and I feel like I'd maybe want to go back to school, do you think it's a sensible idea?

ive been on fairly high doeses of anti.deps for years now, and they sure dont stop me living my life ,they help it...being out and about with other ppl is usually good for depression. as is keeping busy ..why are you not going right now,,just because of the "headmeds:)"...go and enjoy yourself hun and get a education..

Yes, people can work and go to school on sertraline, it is a very mild drug but it can help with depression and OCD.

Of course. Why would you stop living life because you are on antidepressants? Is there some kind of reason you quit going to school other than you were depressed?
