Why did I go into a deep depression by taking easy classes?!
Question: Why did I go into a deep depression by taking easy classes?
Last semester I was in a semester of very easy courses, my schedule happened to fall in this way.
I had very hard classes the past two years of college.
All last semester I was very depressed and bored with my courses. They were so easy.
I stopped studying and still got A's.
I was so bored and depressed. I got a job as a barista because I wanted to learn something new (how to make coffee drinks).
I learned how to make all the drinks very fast and then I quit because I was bored.
Anyway, throughout the whole semester I was depressed. I thought there was something wrong with me.
This semester I signed up for very hard classes and I am very happy now.
I am no longer depressed.
Why would I fall into a depression last semester...? I would think for most people they should be happy that they are relaxing?
Answers:
That's not necessarily true. If you're not living up to your fullest potential, it's common to feel some depression. I believe you knew you were slacking off and not just relaxing, you know you're better than that you are a go getter, you want to be the best that you can possibly be and by taking easy courses you kind of shut yourself down for a while. The good thing is is that you recognize it. I can tell you're extremely smart and a very pretty to. You are going to go a long way. Don't slack off. Keep pushing yourself, keep accepting new challenges set your goals, structure your time, be the very best that you can be, may still get a little depressed at times but that's life we'll experience that, especially the go-getters. Good luck my friend and remember peace= God smack
I think since it was so easy u had more time to itself to think about things and so when ur not busy u begin to think about it more happens to me so I try to keep busy when I feel depressed but relaxing is good too
