Similarly, Somatoform disorder is the appearance of specific symptoms related to an illness which manifest themselves through the patient's hypochondriasis rather than by other physical or mental health issues.

There is also Munchausen syndrome, for when an individual fakes illness in order to get the attention. (There is debate whether this behaviour is deliberate or unconscious; I personally think there are two kinds, the people that do it on purpose for the attention, and the ones that are unconsciously hurting themselves but then rewarded with the sympathy).
