How do you go about getting a diagnosis for a mental health problem?!

Question: How do you go about getting a diagnosis for a mental health problem?
I think I might be bipolar, but I know that I can't be sure unless I get a proper diagnosis. How do I go about getting one? I'm 16.

Answers:

you would need to go to a youth psychiatrist for a mental check up and then a diagnosis. if anything is found the psychiatrist would then place you on medication for it. talk to your regular doctor first though to see what he/she thinks and then have him/her recommend someone for you.

been there.

The best thing to do would to confide in a teacher or nurse, or even your parents if they'd believe you and explain your worries and symptoms and perhaps see after a few counselling or therapy sessions (if your school or college provides them) and see what their professional opinion is(: Hope I helped and best of luck.
