Do i have an anger problem?!

Question: Do i have an anger problem?
Well with my family, usually i have to hide my anger in if i get any, or pretty much any information that may cause anything, and i have some strange ways of hiding it. my parents usually think its funny to see how i react when they do things that make me unhappy or mad. so the anger inside me sometimes builds up and come out a little, which i usually punch something or hit myself. today in my English class, some people were making fun of my paper when we were passing them around, and it made me kind of angry because i never finished it and they were being rude about it. i told them to stop the unnecessary commentary. so one of them said something that made me spark and i took my pencil and stabbed it into my arm, which bleed everywhere, so i had to run out to the nurses office. i don't think anybody knew i stabbed my arm with a pencil, i didn't tell anybody and they were all asking about it. the nurse said that a cut that small wouldn't usually bleed that much unless i really jabbed it in there...
im also kind of thinking of what my classmates think about me for making that happen..

Yes, you do. You shouldn't be harming yourself or others but if you feel such uncontrollable anger and end up acting out because you cannot control it then you should see a therapist.

Also, in the meantime you should get into some kind of exercise, even if it means sprinting around your block or something. I have a friend who goes for a serious run everytime she feels angry or sad or anything.

You need a way to release your emotions that will not harm or hurt anyone else, try writing terrible horrible things, or screaming into your pillow or doing a lot of pushups while you are angry.

Eventually you will find that the anger passes away just the same no matter what you do , but just to spite other people you might as well do something *good* for yourself (like running or pushups!) rather than hurting yourself... you will not only feel better about yourself but you also will not be angry, anymore, and you'll be stronger too.

you probably do but your hiding it inside maybe u should get a councler to help talk about whats on your mind
