Ok....Lets see...You filled you script using your insurance on the 16 of Feb.And,since your accident backing into your make-up bag that had your medications in it,you lost your prescription medication/s that were filled using your insurance. The,you had another script(using slang for short) filled this time using cash. Now,when you go back on Mar.16 to get an entire months worth of Adderall, will your insurance cover the cost? Yes....Why? Because you paid cash, and that doesn't have anything to do with your insurance companies payments. And,just an FYI? Going to different pharmacies isn't going to make a difference...as every pharmacy has this information. And,if you try to go to a new pharmacy you've never been to? And,you use your insurance card to pay for any medication(adderall or whatever) that pharmacy will instantly have all of your prior/past prescription information, and will have on record from that day forward. It makes no difference, and once your information is put into their system...that's it.Next time..take your medications before leaving your home and only take 1 or however many pills that you 'might' need along with you.Take care.

This is what insurance companies do. If you fill a prescription on the 16th of January and it's for a 30 day supply of medication, then the insurance company won't pay again until approximately 5 days or so before your meds run out. They do that to keep people from abusing prescription medications by trying to get refills too soon, or going to different pharmacies to get refills they shouldn't be getting. The practice is the same for every medication people's insurance pays for. If you filled your prescription on the 16th of Jan., then you should be able to get the refill on or about the 16th of February. Your insurance didn't cover the the replacement pills because to them you were trying to refill too soon.
