SCARED? PLEASE READ??!

Question: SCARED? PLEASE READ??
I'm a 16 year old girl and have an anxiety disorder and I am a hypocondriac. I'm aware of my body alot and think and worry about my health almost 24/7, these past few months thats like all i think about anymore. Anyways, everytime i have a headache or pain, i always think of the worst illnesses and things out there. Anyways, i feel dizzyish and a little lightheaded sometimes, my doc says its my anxiety and did blood tests and some other tests and said everything was fine. Anyways, I was just wondering if you concentrate or worry about these things all the time can you make it worse? Like can your brain do things like that? Thanks for the answers and God bless you all!

My sister is like that and her doctor got her doing meditation and it actually works. I am so proud of her for sticking with it and she is doing much better, Plus she exercises and keeps busy.Try doing an exercise program. You can do one at home by yourself, she goes on the internet to fine the exercise program she wants and you can even learn about Meditation on the internet, Check it out! I hope you will at least try. The more you try to keep your mine busy on something else besides you aches and pains the better you will feel, GOOD LUCK!!

Your mind is a wonderful thing but will provide what we want. As you have programmed yourself to think about your health 24/7 then our mind will help you along that route. Time to reprogramme your mind and give it something else to work with.

Your mind can *definitley* do that hun. Please try not to get too over-worried about things like this. I know how you feel, anxiety is a funny thing sometimes! <3
