What's wrong with me? Easy 10 pts.?!

Question: What's wrong with me? Easy 10 pts.?
Lately when i come home from school and take a nap and I set my alarm to go off in an hour. The problem is for some reason lately I've been a heavy sleeper. I sleep through 3 alarms and sleep through four people trying to wake me up. The weird thing is my sister says the first time she woke me up I talked backed to her and was about to get up, but i have no memory of this!

So Am I i stressed or something and what's with the memory loss?

P.S. I seem to also forget what time of day and and how to work my alarm when I wake up. Also sometimes I also forget where I am.

That's not memory loss.

It's just reflex of ur brain.

Ur body/brain is tired. get enough sleep. don't deprive ur body of good sleep.

Ah, I have the same problem. I see a psychiatrist about it frequently, and he thinks it actually might be a more rare kind of epilepsy. You don't get seizures or anything from it, but you may have a hard time falling asleep and/or waking up because your brain is overly active. I suggest you see a doctor.

About the memory loss ... It could be dissociative amnesia, which is indeed caused by extensive stress. If you have a lot on your mind, or if you stress a lot, perhaps you should talk to someone about it, maybe even see a psychiatrist?

Good luck!

I don't think nothing is wrong with you. You might need more then an hour of sleep. I don't know if you have enough sleep at night. I would suggest to stick with a consistent sleeping schedule.( like going to bed before 10pm) and have at least 8 hours of sleep every night.
It is normal to have a temporaily memory loss or forget what day it is when you first wake up. you were most likely in a deep sleep which usually it takes about an hour to be in a deep sleep or a first start of REM cycle.

I truly sympathise with you. I have been this way as long as I can remember myself.

I am afraid this is the only thing that can help us:

P.S.: Don't think that everything is due to an illness!

You could be under a lot of stress. Another thing that may be is mono. But that's unlikely. Stress can easily do a large number on your body.
