Am i Suffering from Depression or something similar?!

Question: Am i Suffering from Depression or something similar?
Well, in the past 8 months, i think my life has sucked. First off, i have been losing my temper very easily. If someone says one little thing that bothers me, i get really annoyed and i tend to argue alot.

I gained 60 pounds in the last 8 months.

I have alot of random mood swings. I can be happy at one moment, and then ill randomly be upset.

I get really depressed and stressed out thinking about my future.

I feel up until this point my life has really sucked.

I used to smoke weed twice a day before i started feeling all of this.

Could i be suffering from Depression? I dont want to tell my parents, because id feel really incomfortable. I dont really want to see a doctor either. What should i do?

sounds like weed caused it. tell your guidance counselor.

Sounds like depression/bipolar disorder

I have depression along with social anxiety
if you think you're depressed, you probably are. you know yourself better than anyone else
i suggest going to your parents. you need to get help before it gets worse than it is

Yes you are having problems with depression. You have several of the symptoms--especially the weight gain, which is not healthy nor good for your self-esteem.
i would see a psychiatrist and be properly evaluated.

Its called life. Depressions not real, its made up so people who's lives suck can feel like its not there fault. Get over it, the light will shine soon.

You are absolutely fine... :) Nothing to worry about.. everybody faces the same problem. :)

It's pretty much impossible to diagnose depression over the internet. But it's clear that you are unwell, even if you're unwilling to see someone who could figure out what kind of unwell and how to fix it.

If you absolutely positively refuse to see a doctor, try this for six weeks:
- every day exercise enough to make you sweat for 30 minutes
- every day take Saint John's Wort (available from Trader Joe's or any health food store - follow the directions on the bottle)
- Keep some kind of record, with an entry for every day that says:
----how you felt that day
----whether you exercised
----whether you took the SJW
----whether you smoked pot (you don't say whether you stopped smoking pot, maybe you have withdrawal?)

I don't promise this will cure you, but at the very minimum it shouldn't hurt you. And by that point, if you finally have wised up enough to go see a doctor, your record will be very helpful to him/her
