Suggestions on being nice?!


Question: Suggestions on being nice?
ok so there's this kid on my basketball team that has brain cancer (welll I think because the tumors keep coming back for him) but he's not dying (or so I've been told) but he looks really "diffrent" but he learns fast and I heard that he got to make a wish from that foundation, so any tips on being nice?

=/ I'm not trying to sound heartless but I don't think it's that great of an idea to start treating him great out of the blue. He might think you're just forcing it because you feel bad for him and that doesn't have a good effect on some people. Definitely be nice to him but don't be too obvious. Start conversations with him and make him feel part of the group. Compliment him when there's something to compliment him on and not just a random thing at a random time. Let him know that you're his friend :)

Make him a batch of cookies for congradulating him :)
