How can I ask my parents to find some help about a disorder I think I have? Help!

Question: How can I ask my parents to find some help about a disorder I think I have? Help? Please?
Well, recently I've been having symptoms of G.A.D. I get very dizzy, headaches, tightness to the muscles.. I read an article about G.A.D and it means that Its a Anxiety Disorder, (when anxiety becomes an illness) I would like to talk about it with someone, but my parents dont believe I have this, and dont believe in therapy... So, I really dont know what to do. My siblings think I'l get passed it. But i feel like im living behind shields I protect myself from everything, and I get so many anxiety attacks, Ive already been to the hospital twice! So, what can this be,? do I go to the doctors? therapy? how do I ask my parents? <-- im worrying right now... (I also have O.C.D and im 14 years old. I have O.C.D of unwanted thoughts or images) <--- if that helps.

That OCD you are talking about is normal between teenagers, most teenagers carry wierd habits or thoughts of bad things or wierd things that usually go away. If it doesn't go away by the time your 16, see a doctor, even a walk in clinic. Go with a friend. Tell the doctor about these problems. If the anxiety attacks keep occuring, this can be a serious problem. Everyone has anxiety but if you are going to the hospital frequently then see a doctor. You should find ways to keep calm, think calm, and do calm. Find activities that make you happy.

get medicaid and go see a doctor you dont need your parents approval to find out your sick...take care of it however means neccesary good luck... you need a pyschiatrist and gets meds. my boyfriend next to me says you could have post traumatic stress disorder. it causes alot of anxiety. thats horrible to have to go through that at such a younge age i hope you get it figured out...maybe practice some stress relievers. music is good

Do you have a family practitioner or personal doctor? I don't think you need your parents permission to go so I would make an appointment and get advice from your physician and go from there. I hope you go get some help for what you are feeling poor girl

The worst disease is not seeking help from professionals or people there waiting for people like you to come in ask for help.

Go see the nurse in your school!

just be upfronttt
