Some people's upbringing is in such a way that it's normal to them. I know that sounds like a cop-out, but if you've been brainwashed into thinking and acting a certain way, it's not always easy to realize you should change. Of course, most people who do these things don't really love the people they do it to.

They are hurting inside in one way or another. Some people have an issue with giving and receiving love. More than likely a conditioned behavior learned from parents or somewhere in childhood. Often people do not completely realize that they are carrying out these learned patterns. They are kind of on auto pilot. The way they treat you is how they treat themselves on the inside. Most of these people can't love another fully because they don't love themselves.

I believe that the people who do abuse others do not love those people as much as they love themselves and they don't understand the personal commitment that Truly loving a mate, a friend, a child, a family member or even their own dog requires.
In short, their needs always have and always will come before the needs of another and these kinds of people are toxic and we need to avoid them in our lives.

umm sometime i really think

Its a learned behavior i was in a abusive marriage for 15 years and he was abused as a child...I also think depending on what kind of abuse its a power struggle..If people stay in the realtionship the abuser knows they can because there partner stays sad i know but been there..Not anymore havent been in 4 years :)

1. Sometimes it is because it was the way they were treated when they grew up, and it is a bad habit that is very hard to break
2. It is to get their way by forceful act
3. To show who is in charge
4. They are hurting or stressed on the inside, and they need to get out somewhere all the hurt and stress they have...

Eh... Been abused...

Because there no such thing as love its made by the government to make women drive men crazy to make them buy things for valentines day and stupid **** like that

Because they don't love them. People are selfish and haven't had proper upbringings.
