Be honest with your therapist-if you really want to change and get help. You have to say the truth and offer as much information about habits and possible reasons why you are doing what you're doing. Your counselor can't help you fully without the facts. I very much doubt that you'd be arrested, but since you are a minor, your dad might be told if the habit is excessive and you don't change your actions/behavior. If you trust your counselor, it's best to be open and honest.
I'm pretty sure you won't get arrested. As for telling your dad,idk how that works. There's obvs a confidentiality thing they have to abide by,but idk what counts as grounds to break that. You should def tell her though
AT 15 years old, you are still a minor, so your cousellor is bound by her profession to inform your parents. And why are you having these troubles at 15 years old? Don't you enjoy life anymore? You really need professional help.
She will get you the help you need, Niamh. Lying about it won't help you. You will die if you continue doing what you're doing. You should tell her, love.

it is good to tell the counceller about ur drug abuse..being polite is good..to show ur face and to link with community .u must tell the couneller.and be patient every thing will be allright.
I'm not sure if u wuld get arrested. She would probably tell your dad just because it is required to keep you safe. Counsellors are there to help you. Most likely she will be glad that you had the courage to come forward and admit ur problem. If she ends up just ratting u out and doesn't help u at all Im pretty sure u culd take her to court. Basically you would fight by saying u know u hav a problem and u trusted the counsellor to help u and u wanted her to help u with the problem and all she did was make things worse. I'm not saying this will happen most likely the councellor will help you.
I'm just a person and this is just my advice. Don't hold me responsible for your choices. It's your life make your own decisions.
