why dont i sleep quickly?!


Question: Why dont i sleep quickly?
when ever i go to bed i just stay up hours and hours on my bed just thinking not being able to sleep and its fustrating knowing u have a test or work next day whats wrong with me and how can i stop it
im 15 nned help i cant stop thinking to many thoughts crammeed in my head and i just stay up not being able to sleep plz help.

It means you have a lot on your mind for a 15 year old, usually it's adults who complain of racing thoughts before they go to sleep, so you must have a lot going on in your life. It's a mental switch that you need to use, remember that your thoughts are like a television, you can change the channel or even watch multiple channels at the same time. Even if you have things to think about, make a conscious decision in your head that you're putting those all away for now, because you can't do anything about them, and the only thing you can right now is sleep. Once you start thinking this way, the thoughts slow down, and you will drift off to sleep. Don't be one of them people drugging themselves to sleep because they can't control their own thoughts. :)



just make sure you are happy, satisfied and very tired from a good days work when you go to bed.....
if you are not happy or satisfied, find out the reasons.....
if you are not tired, exercise.....it releases the same hormones as are released while having sex, so it will help..



I don't agree with the user above,its not good to take medicine to make you sleep.
I would say stop thinking before sleeping also don't drink coffee or tea before because that will put awake the whole night

I wish that will help



My teacher said to me to do breathing excerises the more fustrated the more you can't sleep. Try taking some Herbal sleeping tablets that should drift you off.
