I haven't been able to sleep for over 35 hours; what should I do?!

Question: I haven't been able to sleep for over 35 hours; what should I do?
I have had trouble with insomnia throughout my life, but normally the way it affects me is I cant sleep at night then by morning I am so tired and fall asleep.
But I now haven't been able to sleep for over 35 hours, I couldn't sleep at all last night, so just got up and went out during the day, I've come home and it is now 1am on the following night, still can't sleep.

Is this extremely abnormal? Or does it just mean I maybe have some tension/anxiety? Will I definately fall asleep eventually?

I feel so scared, that I will never sleep again. I know it sounds illogical, but I just can't believe I haven't slept for so many hours and still don't feel tired enough to sleep.

sleeping pills?

focus your thoughts on going to sleep instead of the random pointless thoughts going on in your head. take some nyquil or something. relax your body as much as possible. stop stressing about things that wont do anything for you when its time to sleep. stop worrying.

I had similar problems throughout my whole life. I now use something called Happy Sleep (www.happynutritionals.com). Its cheap and it helps me get back on a sleep cycle. I love it. Good luck!

I use this product every night.

Are you using energy drinks or do you smoke crack or use methamphetamine? They will keep you wound up and unable to sleep.

My suggestion is go to a doctor.
He will solve all your problems.
