Since he has your history it would be a good idea to give him another chance. If after the second visit you feel he is not the one for you, then look for another referral. You need to see someone who specializes in anxiety issues.

The decision of a therapist is a personal process that is about both the persons qualifications, your comfort with that person, and that persons ease of availability with you. I wouldn't break off with a therapist because of one rescheduled appointment however if there is a pattern of them rescheduling on you then it becomes a problem. I would if they fit your other needs in a qualification sense, are fairly easy for you to get to and covered by your insurance / in your price range see them.
