Is there a disorder like this?!

Question: Is there a disorder like this?
My dad hired these cleaning people to come clean our condo every other week, and every time they do, I freak out because i'm worried that there's going to be an earring on the floor that they vacuum up, or they will throw something away, or that they will put my stuff away and I wont know where it is. It also really bothers me when my dad or sister comes into my room while i'm not home. I try to explain but my dad just laughs at me and doesn't believe that i think i actually might have some sort or disorder. I know about OCD and I think it might be something like that. I just absolutely go insane when things aren't placed exactly the way I want them to be. Could this be some sort of disorder?

It could be OCD, Grace, or it just might be that you don't like to waste time looking for things when they should always be in a certain place. If you think it might be OCD, then talk to your school's guidance counselor and see what they say. If they think it could be OCD, they will refer you to a doctor who can make that determination one way or the other.

I suffer from Schizophrenia, anorexia, bulimia, and paranoia. Maybe you are a little paranoid. But not more than average. And I don't think you have OCD. I would go insane, I would scream like someone beloved had died. All though i dont love anyone...i like being myself.....anyway ur fine, lock ur room with a key or something. idk, they might steal something? i would be worried, but the truth is that u shouldn't be

Yeah, it seems like it. You aren't going into details but you could speak to a Doctor about it and they could redirect you to a Therapist or someone of that nature.

If it were OCD, you would also probably take part in actions very repetitively (like washing your hands a hundred times a day...often over and over again...or opening and closing a door because you feel the need to "get it right" or something like that).

If there is anyone else in your family who acts the same way then it's probably genetic and you could figure out what it is as OCD and mental disorders of a similar nature can have Genetic components.

Best of luck.
