I get these thoughts that are disturbing and worrying?!


Question: I get these thoughts that are disturbing and worrying?
Okay i know it's not real but i sometimes get thoughts like not breathing like i don't know why i think it but it makes me panic inside and i use to had thoughts that i would do awful things like make my hair bald and stop breathing it makes me believe it's real like me thinking of me holding my breath and not be able to breath when i know that everyone needs to breath is this some OCD am i worrying over nothing? because it is kinda ruining and worrrying in my life :(

You're experiencing intrusive thoughts - a symptom of OCD. If it's affecting your life negatively, the best advice I can give is to go to your doctor - he/she should be able to talk to you about treatment.
Remember that having these thoughts does not mean you will act on them.

Ok first take a deep breath!!
You have to remember as hard as it is to comes to terms with is that you control your own thoughts no one else
I think the thoughts will go away but next time you even think about one of them either just shut your eyes and count to ten or visualise something like your favourite place or your family and friends which will show you that you are worthy and don't need to worry (:
