Question: A girl in my class said she started self harming because Demi Lovato does it and that she thinks it's "cool"!!?
I've been struggling with self harm for two years and she's acting like it's a joke or a trend or something. I go to extreme lenghts to hid my cuts and scars and she goes around parading them about.
I just wanted to vent. Sorry.

Give this girl a good punch in the face for me and a kick to the stomach for yourself. What a shameless attention whore! I'm sorry you have to deal with this, some people are just born insanely stupid.
She won't think it's cool when she gets older and she has to explain to everyone that she did it because she thought it was "cool". They are going to look at her like she's either dumb or nuts...which she is. Cutting is a serious deal caused by serious hurt (as you know), not something you do to follow a celebrity.
